The Special Issue on “Advanced Sustainable Materials for Energy, Environmental, and Structural Engineering Applications” aims to highlight recent innovations in eco-friendly materials designed for next-generation engineering systems. The issue welcomes original research and review articles focusing on sustainable composites, nanomaterials, smart materials, metal-matrix systems, biomaterials, energy-storage materials, and environmentally responsible manufacturing technologies.
Particular emphasis is placed on materials that support renewable energy generation, thermal management, lightweight structural applications, pollution control, waste valorization, and circular economy strategies. Contributions addressing additive manufacturing, multifunctional materials, durability enhancement, recycling technologies, and AI-assisted material design are also encouraged.
This Special Issue intends to provide an interdisciplinary platform for researchers, scientists, and engineers to present advanced sustainable material solutions to industrial, environmental, and societal challenges. Innovative approaches that promote resource efficiency and sustainable development are particularly encouraged.
