The Editorial Office is pleased to announce the official launch of the Global Interdisciplinary Policy and Finance Journal (GIPFJ), an international peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to advancing rigorous scholarship at the intersection of global governance, public policy, financial systems, and sustainable development.
The twenty-first century is characterized by increasingly complex and interconnected challenges. Climate change, digital transformation, economic security, supply-chain resilience, demographic transitions, and technological innovation all transcend traditional disciplinary boundaries. Addressing these issues requires a deeper understanding of how public policy and financial systems interact to shape economic, social, and institutional outcomes.
Despite their close relationship, policy studies and finance have often evolved as separate fields of inquiry. Yet contemporary governance challenges—from climate finance and sovereign debt management to digital currency regulation and global development financing—demonstrate that policy effectiveness and financial mechanisms are fundamentally intertwined.
GIPFJ was established in response to this reality.
