In recent years, with the wide application of English picture books as children's English enlightenment reading material, it has become an effective auxiliary teaching material for primary students to learn a second foreign language. This paper mainly introduces the concept and characteristics of English picture books so that readers can clearly understand the research object. Secondly, it gives an explanation of the current situation of the application of English picture books in reading education in our country, and demonstrates the importance of English picture books in the field of education. Finally, based on the reading teaching model of PWP and combined with relevant theories of education, specific strategies are proposed for teaching English picture books. I hope this paper will be helpful to the teaching of picture books.

Aerobics offers a comprehensive workout, enhancing students’ physical fitness and promoting overall well-being. Nevertheless, challenges include a lack of awareness among students and potential issues such as insufficient sports skills. Opportunities arise in college physical education courses, serving as an excellent platform for fostering students’ holistic development. However, aerobics faces threats in teaching, such as time constraints and varying student interests. Addressing the actual teaching scenario, corresponding strategies are proposed. Firstly, there is a need to strengthen the promotion and education of aerobics. Secondly, employing a hierarchical, step-by-step teaching approach can elevate students’ motor skills. Additionally, designing engaging and challenging aerobics courses aligned with the characteristics of college physical education helps ignite students’ enthusiasm. Lastly, teachers should flexibly adjust content and methods to ensure effective calisthenics teaching. Through SWOT analysis and the discussion of teaching strategies, this paper aims to offer valuable insights for the aerobics teaching in college physical education classrooms. The goal is to promote students’ all-round development and enhance the overall quality of physical education.

Praxeology is the study of practice, i.e., human activity, primarily in the context of its rationality. The study of manager’s praxeological activity from the point of view of management theory is an important direction of modern science, since it contributes not only to improving the management effectiveness in an organization, but also to the development of new managerial concepts and techniques. In the article, the authors’ concept of praxeological managerial activity is proposed based on the analysis of existing scientific approaches to praxeology. An extended list of criteria for the manager’s praxeological activity efficiency was developed. These criteria include performance, productivity, accuracy of the decisions taken, purposefulness, reliability, innovativeness, quality, and ethics. The authors’ model of the manager’s praxeological activity includes the following elements: a subject (a manager), an object (a company, its staff and activities, etc.), motives (success, growth, profit, etc.), the goal (to ensure the effectiveness of the company’s activities), methods and tools (analysis, planning, organization, motivation, and control), process (praxeological activity), result (efficiency improvement), and reflexivity, correction and iteration. Within the framework of the model of praxeological managerial activity, the manager’s ability to influence the managed object (an organization, employees or the manager’s activities) is particularized. This influence should result in an increase in the employees’ performance, an increase in the managers’ performance, and an increase in the performance of the organization as a whole. The article will be of interest to specialists in the field of management, and corporate governance, as well as for anyone interested in the problems of effective management.

This research focuses on the construction of the competency of “Double-qualified” teachers in higher vocational colleges. Through comprehensive literature analysis, in-depth interviews and questionnaire surveys, a competency model covering three dimensions, namely personality charm, teaching literacy and practical skills, has been successfully established. This model provides a scientific basis for higher vocational colleges in teacher selection, performance evaluation and professional training, and particularly emphasizes the importance of teachers’ cultivation of students’ practical abilities and professional qualities in the context of vocational education. The research reveals that these three competency dimensions are interdependent and jointly influence teachers’ educational and teaching achievements as well as students’ career development.
