In modern society, English, as an important language, is an indispensable tool for people to communicate and exchange. However, learning English is not limited to knowledge points, grammar and other aspects. With the development and progress of the times and the rapid improvement of the level of science and technology, the problem of how to cultivate students' interests has become increasingly prominent. Interest is the best teacher to learn, and it is also the most effective, direct and lasting way for students to learn English well and improve their level and ability. Cultivating good teaching habits can help us master knowledge and skills better. Starting from the importance of students' interest in learning, this paper discusses how to stimulate students' interest in learning and find the correct teaching methods in order to help students have a strong interest in English learning in class and help them acquire knowledge actively.
With the continuous development of globalization, communication among countries around the world is increasingly frequent, and multicultural integration has become the mainstream of the development of the current era. Language, as the carrier of multicultural integration, is an important tool to promote international communication and integration, especially English, as an international language with the largest number of users and the widest range, has extensive practicability and communication. With the continuous deepening of China's reform and opening up, communication with foreign countries has become increasingly close. English has become a basic language skill that college students must master proficiently. The transformation of English education is an inevitable trend that conforms to the development of the times. However, in the current process of English teaching in universities, there are outdated educational ideas and methods, and English teaching and cross-cultural awareness cultivation have not been effectively combined, Causing a lack of interest in English among college students, the inability to truly apply learning outcomes to practical situations, and the loss of its true significance in English teaching. This article analyzes the important impact of the current multicultural integration environment on college English teaching, as well as the problems existing in contemporary college English teaching practice, and proposes targeted transformation paths for college English education in the context of multicultural integration.
The theoretical framework of Production Oriented Approach (POA) proposed by Professor Wen Qiufang has undergone a series of development and improvement, forming a "drive facilitate evaluate" teaching framework system that is guided by output tasks, supported by facilitation activities, led by teachers, and jointly constructed by teachers and students. The "facilitation" link is the core of helping learners achieve goals and achieve output tasks. Based on the ideas and requirements of this theory, the author has designed a series of "facilitation" activities to be applied in advanced English reading classrooms. This article intends to review and reflect on these teaching practice activities, in order to gain a deeper understanding of POA theory.
In contemporary English teaching in primary and secondary schools, good use of modern educational technology can greatly improve the efficiency of teachers' teaching and students' learning, especially during the epidemic period, the application of educational technology in teaching has become an indispensable topic. As the guider of students, teachers should have more mature modern education concepts, master various advanced teaching technologies, prevent the use of "formalism" in educational technology, and ensure that network resources can have a positive impact on students' learning efficiency and effect. This paper adopts the methods of field investigation, interview and literature analysis to investigate and study the current situation of the application of modern educational technology in English teaching in Jinhe Middle School in Genhe City, analyze the existing problems, and propose targeted solutions, in order to effectively apply modern educational technology in Jinhe Middle School and improve its English teaching efficiency and effect.
