Cardiovascular imaging analysis is a useful tool for the diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of cardiovascular diseases. Imaging techniques allow non-invasive quantitative assessment of cardiac function, providing morphological, functional and dynamic information. Recent technological advances in ultrasound have made it possible to improve the quality of patient treatment, thanks to the use of modern image processing and analysis techniques. However, the acquisition of these dynamic three-dimensional (3D) images leads to the production of large volumes of data to process, from which cardiac structures must be extracted and analyzed during the cardiac cycle. Extraction, three-dimensional visualization, and qualification tools are currently used within the clinical routine, but unfortunately require significant interaction with the physician. These elements justify the development of new efficient and robust algorithms for structure extraction and cardiac motion estimation from three-dimensional images. As a result, making available to clinicians new means to accurately assess cardiac anatomy and function from three-dimensional images represents a definite advance in the investigation of a complete description of the heart from a single examination. The aim of this article is to show what advances have been made in 3D cardiac imaging by ultrasound and additionally to observe which areas have been studied under this imaging modality.
This study uses the opening of the new Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) in stages between 2010 and 2012 in Singapore as the exogenous event to empirically test the impact of the new Circle Line (CL) on housing wealth. Applying a "differences-in-differences" approach to the non-landed private housing transaction data covering the period from 2009 to 2013, we find that the average housing prices increase by 1.6% in the post-opening of the CL. We find significant capitalization of the new CL into housing prices, especially households living within a 400-meter radius (the treatment zone) from the closest MRT stations on the CL. The treatment effects that are measured by the "marginal willingness to pay" for houses located within the treatment zone is 13.2% relative to houses located outside the treatment zone. The new CL opening creates an estimated S$1.23 billion housing wealth effects for households living in close proximity to the CL MRT stations. However, we do not find significant "anticipative" effects on house prices in the six-month window prior to the opening of CL. The strongest treatment effect is found after the opening of the phase 1 of CL, and the treatment intensity declines in phases 2 and 3 of the CL opening.
Based on the analysis of the development and present situation of the standardization of forest cultivation in China and combined with the characteristics of forest cultivation, the main basis, principles and methods of establishing forest cultivation standard system were discussed and put forward. A standard system of forest cultivation was established, which included six sub-systems, namely, forest cultivation foundation, prenatal planning, artificial afforestation, tending management, harvest renewal etc. The ideas and management suggestions for standardization of forest cultivation in China in the future were put forward, such as to establish an authoritative and complete database and a supporting management system.
With the rapid development of modernization and the reform and development of quality education, the main direction and goal of vocational colleges in the new era is to cultivate high-level skilled talents required by the times. With the development of globalization and the refined division of labor in industrial technology, the requirements of various industries for high-level skilled talents with the ability to adapt to market development are gradually increasing. This article focuses on exploring and analyzing the demand for hospital imaging technology talents under the rapid development of the new era industry, and discovering the problems in talent cultivation in vocational colleges. In response to the existing problems, actively utilizing college resources and practical opportunities, innovating the college school cooperation mode and teaching methods for imaging technology majors in vocational colleges, and gradually expanding into a standardized, scientific, and developable college cooperation mode for vocational education, Implement the national strategic plan for cultivating quality talents in vocational colleges, focus on doing a good job in the work of "cultivating morality and talents", adhere to the "three education" reform, and improve the quality of talent cultivation.
As one of the key initiatives promoted by the Chinese government, precision poverty alleviation aims to lift information-blocked areas out of poverty and ensure their sustainable economic development. Yunnan Province, characterized by its combination of old, young, border, and poor areas, is the province with the most diverse types of poverty, the widest poverty coverage, and the deepest poverty levels in the country. Yunnan has carried out anti-poverty work in tandem with the national efforts for 42 years in a planned and organized manner, ultimately achieving the goal of zero absolute poverty. In this process, digital rural development has played a very important role. Based on the current experience of digital construction in developed regions, completing regional digitalization requires meeting the needs of information resources, information environment, and information supply and demand. Through keyword search, text analysis, and field visits, we summarized the factors considered by local governments in policy formulation. We also attempted to map out the path for rural governments to build digital villages. With the ultimate goal of bridging the urban-rural gap, the study of digital rural development in Yunnan will provide an effective case.
This study evaluated the development and validation of an integrated operational model for the Underground Logistics System (ULS) in South Korea’s metropolitan area, aiming to address challenges in urban logistics and freight transportation by highlighting the potential of innovative logistics systems that utilize underground spaces. This study used conceptual modeling to define the core concepts of ULS and explored the system architecture, including cargo handling, transportation, operations and control systems, as well as the roles of cargo crews and train drivers. The ULS operational scenarios were verified through model simulation, incorporating both logical and temporal analyses. The simulation outcomes affirm the model’s logical coherence and precision, emphasizing ULS’s pivotal role in boosting logistics efficiency. Thus, ULS systems in Korea offer prospects for elevating national competitiveness and spurring urban growth, underscoring the merits of ULS in navigating contemporary urban challenges and championing sustainability.
