The proportion of elderly people is growing steadily in many countries, and this trend is expected to continue. As a result, ageism—negative discrimination often tied to perceptions of the elderly—becomes especially harmful. Ageism prevents older generations from being fully accepted by society and, in turn, hinders their ability to adapt to today’s technological changes. In this article, we present the results of our survey mapping the extent of ageism among youth in Uzbekistan, known for its cultural tolerance in Central Asia, and in Hungary, a more individualistic society in Central Europe. To interpret the survey results accurately, we included specific questions to measure social desirability bias, enabling a realistic comparison of ageism levels between the two countries. Data was collected through a survey translated into multiple languages, with a final sample of nearly 400 respondents, each either currently pursuing or already holding a college-level diploma. Our methodological approach was twofold. First, we conducted simple chi-square tests to compare levels of negative and positive ageism between the two countries under study. Upon finding significant differences, we used multivariable OLS regression to explain the variance in types of ageism in Uzbekistan and Hungary, accounting for the possible effects of social desirability bias. Uzbek youth demonstrated higher levels of positive ageism and lower levels of negative ageism compared to Hungarian youth. This finding confirms that the cultural tolerance in Uzbek society remains strong and, in many ways, could serve as a model for Hungary. Additionally, our literature review highlights that adequate infrastructure is essential for a society to treat older adults equitably alongside other citizens.
Prefabricated decoration is an efficient construction mode in the current construction field, with the main purpose of quickly improving the efficiency and quality of decoration through the effective application of modular decoration technology. Therefore, there is a high demand for efficient prefabricated technical talents in various construction units or enterprises in the construction industry. How to cultivate efficient prefabricated technical talents is a problem that relevant professional teachers in universities must pay attention to at present. This paper mainly analyzes the research and practice of the training mode of prefabricated technical talents, summarizes the connotation of prefabricated building and the importance of prefabricated building talent training, analyzes the key points and requirements of prefabricated building teaching, summarizes the problems existing in the training process of prefabricated building talents and puts forward corresponding optimization countermeasures, so as to lay a solid foundation for the optimization of the training mode of prefabricated talents in the next stage and the promotion of talent training level.
At this stage, network technology is developing rapidly. The resources in the network are massive, and a large number of resources are distributed in a decentralized and heterogeneous manner. With the continuous expansion of the application scope of distributed technology, it can provide effective scheme guidance for resource application. Combined with the current situation of network teaching platform and relevant functional requirements, it is very necessary to apply distributed technology. Taking DFS technology as an example, this paper studies the shared resource management scheme of this technology in network storage, and studies the specific application effect and path of DFS technology in distributed network teaching platform.
In the context of big data, the teaching of financial accounting for vocational undergraduate students needs to be continuously optimized and innovated. This article provides a brief analysis of the current situation of financial accounting teaching for vocational undergraduate students. It also analyzes the phenomena of outdated teaching concepts, outdated teaching content, and unreasonable teaching objectives in the current teaching of financial accounting for vocational undergraduate students. It proposes the idea of innovating teaching concepts in current teaching work, clarifying teaching objectives, integrating flipped classroom reform teaching mode, and introducing project-based teaching method to improve teaching efficiency, so as to achieve more efficient teaching guidance for students.
