The native peoples of the State of Mexico, especially the Mazahua community, present a high degree of marginality and food vulnerability, causing their inhabitants to be classified within the poor and extremely poor population. The objective of the research is to propose a food vulnerability index for the Mazahua community of the State of Mexico through the induction-deduction method, contrasting the existing literature with a semi-structured exploratory interview to identify the main factors that affect the native peoples. The study population was selected taking into account the number of inhabitants and poverty levels. The sources of information, in addition to documentary sources, were key informants and visits to Mazahua families that facilitated information about the different variables: natural, economic, social, cultural component, degree of adaptability and resilience for the creation and better understanding of the food vulnerability index in the communities under study.
With the development and reform of education, the cultivation of core competencies for normal school students is receiving increasing attention. This article analyzes the connotation of the core literacy of preschool education teacher students, the difficulties faced in cultivating core literacy, and explores how to use flipped classrooms to enhance the core literacy of preschool education teacher students.
This study was conducted to comprehensively explore personal assistants for people with disabilities experiences and the current status of client behavioral issues during vocational activities, aiming to seek strategies for advancing worker health protection. The study included 8 participants (Personal assistants for people with disabilities) selected through voluntary convenience sampling method. Qualitative research methods, specifically in-depth interviews, were conducted from August 31 to September 1, 2023. The study categorized client behavioral issues into ‘unreasonable demands,’ ‘verbal and physical abuse,’ and ‘sexual harassment,’ causing stress among workers. Fear of unemployment and job change hindered emotional expression, leading to significant emotional exhaustion and job stress. Furthermore, it was revealed that there are no management policies, management departments, or management systems within the institution to address client problem behavior. To address these issues, the study suggests the establishment of emotional labor management systems and support structures. Furthermore, it emphasizes the need for systematic internal systems and the development of health protection manuals for client interaction.
The objectives of this qualitative research are to study problems and factors promoting success in the career path of government officials in the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation (MHESI) in Thailand. The study also finds out career path model to opinions between executives and government officials. This qualitative employed in-depth interview and focus group discussion with executives, academics, and civil servants. It found that the problem was the planning and management of career path due to lacking of standard pattern. Also, it found that the model of career path provides practitioners with career advancement opportunities and job titles from the very beginning to the very top where they can advance and can plan their career progression. The model also provides an opportunity to explore officers’ competencies, aptitudes, and interests that are appropriate for any type of work in the organization and able to prepare them to perform the job, which will affect the success of civil servants’ work and human resource management to create career path and develop oneself to be able to compete for academic and professional excellence, as well as prepare the government officers for appropriate positions in the future.
This exploratory study aims to identify the main characteristics and relationships between artificial intelligence (AI) and broadband development in Asia and the Pacific. Broadband networks are the foundation and prerequisite for the development of AI. But what types of broadband networks would be conducive are not adequately discussed so far. Furthermore, in addition to broadband networks, other factors, such as income level, broadband quality, and investment, are expected to influence the uptake of AI in the region. The findings are synthesized into a set of policy recommendations at the end of the article, which highlights the need for regional cooperation through an initiative, such as the Asia-Pacific Information Superhighway (AP-IS).
