Human Resources, Education and Society (HRES) is an international peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing research on the relationships among education, workforce development, human capital formation, and social transformation.
The journal recognizes that educational systems, labor markets, and social institutions are increasingly interconnected in shaping human development and economic opportunity. We are interested in scholarly work that examines how knowledge, skills, and competencies are developed through education and training, translated into workforce participation, and contribute to social mobility, productivity, and sustainable development.
In an era characterized by rapid technological change, artificial intelligence, demographic transitions, and evolving forms of work, HRES provides a platform for interdisciplinary research that bridges education studies, human resource management, labor economics, sociology, public policy, and development studies. The journal welcomes theoretical, empirical, comparative, and policy-oriented contributions from diverse geographical and institutional contexts.
