The quality of indoor classroom conditions influences the well-being of its occupants, students and teachers. Especially the temperature, outside acceptable limits, can increase the risk of discomfort, illness, stress behaviors and cognitive processes. Assuming the importance of this, in this quantitative observational study, we investigated the relationship between two environmental variables, temperature and humidity, and students’ basic emotions. Data were collected over four weeks in a secondary school in Spain, with environmental variables recorded every 10 minutes using a monitoring kit installed in the classroom, and students’ emotions categorized using Emotion Recognition Technology (ERT). The results suggest that high recorded temperatures and humidity levels are associated with emotional responses among students. While linear regression models indicate that temperature and humidity may influence students’ emotional experiences in the classroom, the explanatory power of these models may be limited, suggesting that other factors could contribute to the observed variability in emotions. The implications and limitations of these findings for classroom conditions and student emotional well-being are discussed. Recognizing the influence of environmental conditions and monitoring them is a step toward establishing smart classrooms.
This study investigates the influence of perceived value and perceived risk on consumer intentions to purchase counterfeit luxury goods, drawing upon an integrated theoretical framework encompassing perceived value theory, risk perception theory, and consumer behavior models. Through a quantitative research design involving a structured survey and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), the study examines the relationships among perceived value dimensions (functional, emotional, social, economic), perceived risk factors (financial, social, performance), consumer attitudes, and purchase intentions. The findings reveal that perceived value positively influences purchase intentions, with consumer attitudes acting as a critical mediating mechanism. Conversely, perceived risk negatively impacts purchase intentions, with this relationship also mediated by consumer attitudes. Furthermore, Bayesian Network analysis uncovers the indirect pathways through which perceived risk shapes purchase intentions via its influence on consumer attitudes. By integrating these theoretical frameworks and employing advanced analytical techniques, this study contributes to a comprehensive understanding of the complex decision-making processes underlying counterfeit luxury goods consumption. The findings provide valuable insights for policymakers, luxury brand managers, and consumer protection agencies in devising targeted strategies to address consumer perceptions of value and risk, ultimately mitigating the proliferation of counterfeit luxury goods.
This study aims to advance understanding of the factors affecting Generation Z employee commitment in the workplace of the information and technology (IT) companies in Vietnam. A survey of 450 Generation Z employees in IT companies shows that company remuneration, reward and welfare, work environment, colleagues, direct manager, promotion, job characteristics, green initiatives are positively related to Generation Z organizational commitment. More specifically, work environment and direct manager have the highest effect on Generation Z employee commitment to organization while promotion and colleagues have the lowest effect on Generation Z employee commitment to organization. Research results also revealed that green initiatives of the organization have significant effect on Generation Z employee commitment in companies. This finding suggests that including green initiatives in corporate strategy is a valuable approach for improving Generation Z employee commitment to organization. We discuss the implications for theory, practice, limitations, and directions for future research.
The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship between transformational leadership variables and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) variables, investigate the relationship between job satisfaction variables and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), and investigate the relationship between organizational commitment variables and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). This research method uses quantitative methods. In this study, the researchers used a simple random sampling technique with a sample size of 368 SMEs employee. The data collection method for this research is by distributing an online questionnaire designed using a Likert scale of 1 to 7. The data analysis technique uses Partial Least Square—Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) and data analysis tools use SmartPLS software version 3.0. The stages of data analysis are validity testing, reliability testing and hypothesis testing. The independent variables in this research are transformational leadership, job satisfaction and organizational commitment, while the dependent variable is organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). The results of this research are that transformational leadership has a positive influence on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), Job Satisfaction has a positive influence on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and organizational commitment has a positive influence on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). The theoretical implications of this research support the results of previous research that transformational leadership, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment make a positive contribution to increasing organizational citizenship behavior in SME employees. The practical implication of this research is that SME owners apply transformational leadership, create work breadth and create organizational commitment within the SME organization to support increasing employee organizational citizenship behavior so that it can encourage increased performance and competitiveness of SMEs.
Academic integrity has been at the centre of the discussion of the adoption of Chat GPT by academics in their research. This study explored how academic integrity mitigates the desire to use ChatGPT in academic tasks by EFL Pre-service teachers, in consideration of the time factor, perceived peer influence, academic self-effectiveness, and self-esteem. The study utilized web-based questionnaires to elicit data from 300 EFL Pre-service teachers across educational fields drawn from different schools across the world. Analysis was conducted using relevant statistical measures to test the projected four hypotheses. The findings provide evidence in support of Hypothesis 1, with a statistically significant path coefficient (β) of 0.442, a t-value of 3.728, and a p-value of 0.000. The hypothesis acceptance implies that when academic integrity improves, the impact of the time-saving aspect of the use of ChatGPT Across educational fields study decreases. This suggests that EFL Pre-service teachers who have a firm dedication to academic honesty are less influenced by the tempting appeal of ChatGPT’s time-saving features, highlighting the ethical factors that influence their decision-making. The data also provide support for Hypothesis 2, indicating a substantial inverse relationship with a path coefficient (β) of 0.369, a t-value of 5.629, and a p-value of 0.001. These findings indicate that stronger adherence to academic integrity is linked to a diminished effect of colleagues on the choice to use ChatGPT in Academic tasks. The results suggest that a firm dedication to academic honesty serves as a protective barrier against exogenous pressures or influences from colleagues when it comes to embracing cutting-edge technology. However, in general, these findings revealed there was a negative association between academically related factors (e.g., time factor, sense of peer pressure, language study self-confidence, and academic language competence), as well as an attitude toward adoption of ChatGPT and commitment towards academic integrity.

The employee innovation performance involves a series of tasks carried out by individuals who not only possess knowledge and skills but also demonstrate consistency, active involvement in decision-making, intrinsic motivation, and a flair for innovation. Objective: This study endeavors to provide valuable insights into how non-standard service relationships, psychological contracts, and knowledge sharing practices can collectively impact and drive innovation in the green manufacturing sector. Arrangement: In the investigation of employee innovation performance within the development of the green manufacturing industry, the focus will be on exploring non-standard service relationships, psychological contracts, and knowledge sharing. These three specific facets play a pivotal role in shaping the innovation landscape in organizations operating within the realm of sustainable manufacturing. The arrangement of this study will begin by examining the impact of non-standard service relationships on employee innovation performance. By dissecting unconventional service models and their correlation with innovation behaviors, we aim to uncover novel insights that can fuel sustainable innovation practices in the green manufacturing sector. Method: The study adopts a quantitative methodology to collect data, concentrating on a group of employees across eight distinct outsourcing firms. This selection results in a comprehensive sample of 299 participants. For the analysis and manipulation of the data, the research utilizes Sructural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) software. This choice facilitates a meticulous and structured analysis of the data gathered, ensuring precision in the research findings. Results: The research findings reveal a significant and positive influence of psychological contracts on the propensity for knowledge sharing among employees. This suggests that organizations that emphasize establishing strong psychological contracts are likely to nurture a work environment conducive to the free exchange of knowledge and ideas, thus promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Additionally, the data points to a noteworthy positive correlation between the act of knowledge sharing and the ability of an organization to offer unique, non-standard services. This underscores the role of knowledge sharing as a catalyst for innovation, indicating that organizations encouraging such exchanges are in a better position to innovate and provide services that adapt to the changing demands of customers and stakeholders. Conclusion: The research underscores the critical but nuanced role of knowledge sharing in driving employee innovation, especially when contrasted with its pronounced impact on developing non-standard services. It highlights the necessity for organizations to create environments conducive to the free exchange of ideas, fostering innovation. The aim is to identify key themes, assess the impact of AI-powered CX initiatives, and highlight directions for future research. Employing a systematic and comprehensive approach, the study analyzes academic publications, industry reports, and case studies to extract theoretical frameworks, empirical findings, and practical insights. This study examines the intricate interplay between the digital environment and the evolving communication dynamics of Generation Z, specifically focusing on the impact of social media on familial bonds. The research objective is to explore the ways in which Generation Z’s social media consumption patterns shape their relationships and lives, providing insights into the intricate interplay between technology and human connections. Adopting Hirschi and Wellman’s theoretical framework, this investigation employs a survey method, utilizing a questionnaire to gather data from 384 Iranian Generation Z social media users. The findings reveal a significant and negative correlation between family bonds and social media usage, dependency on the platform, and support received from it. Excessive use diminishes interaction and intimacy, highlighting social media’s potential consequences for family relationships, which are crucial for individual and societal well-being. The study underscores the significance of balanced social media usage and encourages initiatives promoting face-to-face interactions, empathy, and responsible digital citizenship. The findings hold significant implications for academics and policymakers in developing strategies that promote responsible digital habits, foster healthy relationships, and contribute to digital citizenship advancement. This may involve regulatory initiatives, guidelines for social media platforms, and public awareness campaigns emphasizing the importance of balanced digital habits.
