Increased scientific research policies and the sustainable development of the education chain—Taking China as an example

This paper models 54,559 Chinese news items about education industry and scientific industry by machine learning during the COVID-19 epidemic to build China’s increased scientific research policy (ISRP) index. The result of interrupted time series analysis indicates that, the ISRP has an emphatic positive causality on the education industry advancement and promotes the development of the education industry. The ISRP also has a remarkable positive causality on the development of the scientific industry. Moreover, the result of causal network indicates that, a virtuous circle within the ISRP, the education industry and the scientific industry has been formed, which has promoted the sustainable development of the education chain.

Exploration and Reflection on the Curriculum Construction of Vocational Undergraduate Applied Chemistry Major

Vocational education undergraduate applied chemistry major is of great significance in cultivating applied talents, however, the traditional curriculum and teaching mode can no longer fully meet the needs of students and the requirements of the industry. In order to improve students’ practical ability, innovation ability and application ability to meet the industry demand and improve students’ employment competitiveness, the curriculum construction of VET undergraduate applied chemistry major needs to be explored and considered. Taking the curriculum construction of VET undergraduate applied chemistry major as an entry point, this paper analyzes the challenges and problems faced in this field and puts forward a series of strategies and reflections.

Global Competence: Development of Concepts and Overseas Practices

Cultivating international talents with global competence meets the need of time. Although domestic scholars have paid much attention to the study of global competence training for Chinese students, they lack a systematic understanding of its conceptual development and its training practices. Therefore, this paper systematically overviews the development of global competence and relative programs launched by foreign universities. At the same time, it provides practical insights into the introduction of training programs and assessment frameworks in China from multiple perspectives.

Teaching and Learning Innovations in College English Education from a Multicultural Perspective

With the development of globalization, the importance of multiculturalism in university English education is becoming more and more prominent. This paper discusses the problems related to the teaching innovation of university English education from the perspective of multiculturalism. Firstly, it introduces the concept and significance of multicultural education and emphasizes its importance to university English education. Secondly, it analyzes the problems existing in the current university English teaching, such as cultural prejudice and language barrier. Then, innovative strategies for multicultural teaching are proposed, including teacher training, textbook design, teaching activities and so on. Finally, the evaluation and future development of multicultural education are prospected.

The impact of family education based on Islamic economic principles in reducing family financial distress

This study aims to examine the impact of family education based on Islamic economics in reducing family financial distress within families from the perspective of university students. The study was conducted on 359 undergraduate students of Yarmouk University, Irbid, Jordan, to assess how much Islamic teachings of moderation, future planning, and financial prudence are practiced in familial financial decision-making patterns. Using descriptive and inferential analyses such as t-tests, ANOVA, correlation coefficients, and regression analysis, this study examines possible links between family budget and financial management principles and their strategies and financial distress. The findings demonstrate that compliance with Islamic financial principles significantly reduces the family’s financial distress by emphasizing needs over wants and ensuring the sound management of resources. Critical demographic variables, including income, gender, and household size, emerged as significant moderators in these relationships. The study highlights the practical and spiritual importance of incorporating Islamic teachings into family education to improve financial literacy. By offering cultural and religious perspectives on financial management and literacy, this research is valuable for shaping policies, practices, and interventions aimed at Muslim populations and global society.
